"You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. Michael from IL - "A Time For Choosing"

Today we celebrate what would have been the 100th birthday of Ronald Wilson Reagan; fate determined that he would not witness this moment, yet his legacy lives on.  In 1964 Reagan delivered the speech that would catapult him onto the national stage, entitled “A Time for Choosing” its relevance crosses the great divide of time and tide.  Extrapolate the numbers and substitute the adversaries it becomes eerily poignant how well Reagan understood the core principles of America, the right to self-determination held sacred by Americans and the hollow promise of Democratic Liberalism.
