There has been a surge in Americans Joining the Communist Party in the United States since Barack Obama was elected President in 2008.

Just 11 days after Barack Obama was sworn in as President, the Chairman of the Communist Party USA said this.

"We now have not simply a friend, but a people's advocate in the White House."
