Standard & Poor’s has lowered America’s credit standing to negative

For the first time, Standard & Poor’s has lowered America’s credit standing to negative, citing very little confidence that the White House and Congress can agree on a long-term deficit plan. Steve Forbes, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of Forbes Media, spoke Today about the agency’s decision and why this is a wake-up call to the White House.
