Reports indicate the Obama administration indirectly relied on the Muslim Brotherhood for security in Benghazi.

As Islamist attackers stormed the U.S. consulate - Libyan Interior Minister Wanis al-Sharif's claimed that Libyan security forces essentially handed the US consulate personnel over to the attackers.

In 2007, CAIR and another Brotherhood front — the Islamic Society of North America, or ISNA — were named unindicted co-conspirators in the largest terror-finance conviction in U.S. history. They have been shielded from further prosecution by the Obama Justice Department.

In 2004, the FBI recovered a document from a Brotherhood leader's home across the Potomac that outlined a conspiracy to "destroy" the U.S. "from within." The document provided agents with a road map to the Brotherhood's terror-support network inside America, much of it based inside the Beltway.
