"You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children's children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done."

Katie Pavlich on Latest Fast and Furious Hearing UPDATED

Cam Edwards talks to Katie Pavlich from Townhall.com, who attended the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing on the Fast and Furious scandal - NRA News - July 26, 2011.

During testimony on Capitol Hill, we heard Former ATF Special Agent in Charge William Newell admit he was in contact with White House National Security staffer Kevin O'Reilly about Operation Fast and Furious as early as September 2010. Newell also admitted that the DHS, IRS, DEA, ATF, ICE and the Obama Justice Department were all heavily involved and were full partners in coming up with the concept and execution of Operation Fast and Furious.

President Obama specifically asked Eric Holder to do a “complete review” of “current gun enforcement operations,” in April 2009, yet Eric Holder and President Obama deny they authorized or knew anything specific about Operation Fast and Furious until 2011?

United Postal Service Going Bankrupt

USPS is the second largest employer in the United States - only Wal-Mart has mores employees.

The Postal Service is nearly $15 billion in debt. It has stayed afloat by borrowing $12 billion from the U.S. Treasury. The agency has lost $20 billion since 2007. Other countries have profitable postal services because they have shut down their main offices, rented space from gas stations and grocery stores and allowed private companies to take over the postal services.

Rep. Darrell Issa, the Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, introduced a postal reform act that would implement key structural reforms to the United States Postal Service. Currently, the USPS is projected to operate at an $8.3 billion loss this year.

Rep. Dennis Ross (R-FL) discusses the dire financial situation of the U.S. Postal Service and what possibilities the U.S. Postal Service has to avoid insolvency by the end of the fiscal year.

Rep. Darrell Issa Says Justice Department Stonewalling on "Fast and Furious"

Cam Edwards and Ginny Simone talk to Congressman Darrell Issa (R - CA) - NRA News - July 19, 2011
Rep. Darrell Issa exposes further details of Operation Fast and Furious, saying taxpayer dollars may have been used to fund the operation and paid for guns given to dangerous Mexican drug cartels by straw purchasers who were under heavy surveillance of ATF and the Justice Department. Issa also said that communication between the Justice Department, FBI and DEA was roadblocked by Obama political appointees in the Justice Department who failed to share information with other law enforcement agencies. As more details emerge, it looks as though the Obama Justice Department was using ATF and its agents as pawns for Operation Fast and Furious while keeping them in the dark about the dirty details and purpose of the operation.
