Scottie Hughes - Barack Milhous Nixon
“Being on President Nixon’s enemies list was the highest single honor I've ever received,” the actor Paul Newman once remarked. America’s 37th president had a fascination, some might say an unhealthy obsession, with the perceived enemies of his administration. He drew up lists of who was being naughty. He tasked henchmen to break into the offices and spy on Democrats. For this Nixon was forced to resign in disgrace, becoming the only man in the history of the United States to relinquish and resign the great powers of the Oval Office.
Fast forward four decades, and our 44th president, Barack Obama, and his administration are taking a page from the Nixon playbook by targeting their political enemies in the Tea Party. Richard Milhous Nixon must be blushing. The Internal Revenue Service admitted Friday that it had knowingly targeted dozens of non-profit groups with “tea party” and “patriots” in their name. The Tea Party News Network’s sister organization, TheTeaParty.net was one of the largest and most prominent groups. TheTeaParty.net received a number of harassing requests and inquiries from the IRS to relinquish its donor lists, every email ever sent, every Tweet ever put out, every Facebook post and every You Tube video published since its creation.
The assumption all along had been that behind the IRS harassment was a political motivation. The goal was to silence and intimidate those who stand in the way of big government and the burdensome taxes that thousands of bureaucrats at the IRS gleefully exact from the 47 percent of Americans who pay into the system.
It has been no secret within the movement that Tea Party organizations as well as Tea Party candidates have been targeted since the first day of the Obama administration. In March 2012, the New York Times editorialized in favor of using the IRS as a political weapon. “The I.R.S. must not flinch from its duty to enforce the tax code and root out political operatives who are abusing the law and conning taxpayers and voters.”
We have seen both the mainstream media and this administration strongly come against any group who did not align themselves with the President’s agenda and when possible, inflict punishment in the form of savage political attacks, television ads, surrogate smears – and now, we know, IRS audits and inquiries.
The majority of Tea Party groups and candidates were undeterred. They continued to push through the bureaucratic mud, hoping that eventually their persistence would pay off, that if they answered all the questions – as costly and time-consuming as they were – that ultimately their First Amendment rights to speak freely about their political views would prevail.
Now we know our worst fears have been realized. Friday’s revelation marks a milestone in the history of our Republic – a sad one where our Constitutional rights have been trampled. For all the talk of the Patriot Act and Guantanamo and any of the other imagined Constitutional crimes committed by the Bush administration in the eyes of the left, here we have an affront against our citizenry and a blatant disregard of the Constitution that should make every American, Republican, Democrat and Independent unite in outrage.
Now, the rallying cry has been sounded and the Tea Party movement has been united. The last thing a Patriot ever wants to hear is that a corrupt Government is targeting them. Now that they are emboldened, people will be ready to share their story with hopes that by unifying in large numbers there will be little or no retaliation.
I hope the American people will listen to these examples and realize that no one is exempt from being targeted and every right that we as American’s enjoy is currently under attack. Tyranny is knocking at America’s doorsteps and it is only those who are paying attention who are keeping the door from swinging wide open.
It is a national disgrace that those of us who have been part of the Tea Party movement over the past several years – regular Americans trying to make a living to support their family – have been targeted by our own government because of our opposition to tax-and-spend policies of both Democrats and Republicans. Yet now that it is public, now that we vow to continue to search out who authorized this, when and why, and how high up the chain in the Obama administration this scandal reaches, we will hopefully turn aside this sad chapter in American history.
I don’t claim to speak on behalf of millions of Tea Parties across the nation, but for me at least, I’m proud to say that being on President Barack Obama’s enemies list is the highest single honor I’ve ever received.

Scottie Hughes - TPNN's Scottie Hughes Talks IRS Scandal on CBS This Morning
Senior officials at the Internal Revenue Service were aware that its agents were targeting Tea Party groups as early as 2011, according to an Inspector General's draft report obtained by Fox News. The IRS apologized Friday for what it acknowledged was "inappropriate" targeting of conservative political groups during the 2012 election to see if they were violating their tax-exempt status. The agency blamed low-level employees, saying no high-level officials were aware.
Lois Lerner, who runs the IRS division that oversees tax-exempt organizations, knew about the targeting of Tea Party groups since June 29, 2011.
Lerner learned at a meeting that the groups were being targeted, according to the watchdog's report. At the meeting, she was told that groups with "Tea Party," `'Patriot" or "9/12 Project" in their names were being flagged for additional and often burdensome scrutiny, the report says. In addition, the Determinations Unit sent cases to a designated team of specialists to be worked that had issues including government spending, government debt, or taxes, or included statements in their files criticizing how the country is being run.

Scottie Hughes - Tea Party Profiling by the IRS
The IRS acknowledging that it targeted conservative political groups during the 2012 election season has sparked bipartisan calls for investigation -- with House Republicans already saying they will hold a hearing on the issue.House Majority Leader Eric Cantor said Friday the Republican-led chamber would investigate the tax-collecting agency for flagging the groups for additional review to see whether they were violating their tax-exempt status.
“The IRS cannot target or intimidate any individual or organization based on their political beliefs,” the Virginia Republican said.
Andrea Tantaros - IRS Admits Targeting Conservatives and TeaParty Groups
Washington Republicans on Sunday (May 12, 2013) characterized the IRS targeting Tea Party groups and other conservative political organizations as “chilling” and intimidating acts that heighten Americans' mistrust in government.Their comments follow the IRS acknowledgment Friday that the agency targeted such groups during the 2012 election cycle to see whether they were violating their tax-exempt status -- a revelation followed by a report that such activity dated back to the previous year.
“The conclusion that the IRS came to is that they did have agents who were engaged in intimidation of political groups,” Michigan Rep. Mike Rogers told “Fox News Sunday.” “I don't care if you're a conservative, a liberal, a Democrat or a Republican, this should send a chill up your spine. It needs to have a full investigation.”
Evidence that the IRS was flagging such groups in 2011 was included in a draft inspector general's report obtained Saturday by Fox News and other news organizations and is expected to be released in full later this week.
That information seemingly contradicts public statements by IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman, who told congressional investigators in March 2011 that specific groups were not being targeted.
On Sunday, Fox News obtained a timeline from the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration that shows the practice started in 2010 and that IRS agents also were looking for groups associated with such phrases as "We the People," and "Take Back the Country.

Scottie Hughes - IRS Enemies List Exposed and Defined
Back in May 2009, Professor Glenn Reynolds, better known to his followers as Instapundit, penned an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal in which he discussed some odd rhetoric from President Obama. Obama had been refused an honorary doctorate by Arizona State University, and Obama remarked, “President [Michael] Crowe and the Board of Regents will soon learn all about being audited by the IRS.” Reynolds pointed out:Just a joke about the power of the presidency. Made by Jay Leno it might have been funny. But as told by Mr. Obama, the actual president of the United States, it's hard to see the humor. Surely he's aware that other presidents, most notably Richard Nixon, have abused the power of the Internal Revenue Service to harass their political opponents. But that abuse generated a powerful backlash and with good reason. Should the IRS come to be seen as just a bunch of enforcers for whoever is in political power, the result would be an enormous loss of legitimacy for the tax system.
As it turns out, the IRS under President Obama routinely gave special scrutiny for groups with the terms “tea party” or “patriots” in their titles. His little joke doesn’t read much like a joke anymore.

Scottie Hughes - Crony Capitalism at Work
Ready for the next Solyndra? If you haven’t heard of GreenTech Automotive, that’s going to change. And fast. The “green energy” company that boasts about building electric cars has recently been vaulted into the national spotlight because of its ties to top Clinton donors and Obama administration officials, and most disturbingly, because of its assault on freedom of speech by suing the Franklin Center and its independent journalism arm Watchdog.org.
Investigative journalists are few and far between, especially in the Obama era. Few dare to pore over documents and ask the tough questions of Democrats in power. The mainstream media has been asleep at the switch. Stories like Fast and Furious and Solyndra only came to light because of the work of the independent journalists and bloggers who worked tirelessly to expose the corruption within the Obama administration. The brave journalists at the Franklin Center who broke this story deserve widespread praise from the mainstream media. Instead they’ve been ignored because they are conservatives exposing corruption on the left. In other words, your typical double standard is at play. Those who dare to step out and report on well-heeled and well-connected Washington insiders like liberal Democrat Terry McAuliffe, the founder and former chairman of GreenTech, find themselves the victims of smear campaigns and lawsuits. GreenTech is now suing the Franklin Center for $85 million in a clear effort to shut down their efforts to investigate the company. They intend to put a muzzle on the First Amendment. Like most on the left, the Constitution of the United States is only useful when it works for them.
It’s little wonder GreenTech would want to muzzle Watchdog.org considering what its reporters discovered. At the heart of the business were top-tier Clintonistas and Obama officials who had signed on to help the new business cash in on millions of dollars in “green energy” subsidies and financing plans courtesy of the American taxpayer. These were the same programs that proved so successful in keeping afloat Solyndra and Fisker–that is, until they went belly up.
Hugh Rodham, the disgraced brother of Hillary Clinton, led the company’s fundraising efforts. This of course is same Hugh Rodham responsible for the ethically dubious “legal services” to secure pardons from his brother in law, the 42nd President of the United States. One of Obama’s top campaign and cabinet officials, Rick Wade, is GreenTech’s vice president. Wade served as interim director, chief of staff and spokesman of Obama’s Department of Commerce, where he helped craft the $787 billion stimulus bill chock full of subsidies to other green energy boondoggles.
Perhaps most disturbing, Watchdog.org found that the company’s funding relied on a "cash for visas" program to attract foreign investment. Under the controversial EB-5 visa program, foreign nationals who invest $500,000 in U.S. companies are eligible for green cards for themselves and their families -- permanent U.S. residency. The Boston jihadists didn’t need a half million dollars to get here, but there’s no reason some well-funded terrorists couldn’t. This is exactly the kind of approach the Obama administration loves – looking the other way while people who hate our freedoms wallow their way onto our shores.
The scheme raised hackles when in 2009 GreenTech approached Democratic governor of Virginia Tim Kaine for state grants and subsidies to build their plant. Even Kaine officials had enough sense to turn this hare-brained scheme down. Officials were horrified when they evaluated the business plan. One labeled McAullife’s business “a visa-for-sale scheme with potential national security implications that we have no way to confirm or discount.”
Crony capitalism has reached new heights of audacity in the Obama era, but lest we forget, Republicans can be enticed too. When Virginia's concerns went unaddressed, McAuliffe went to Mississippi, where he found a warm welcome and an enticing mix of government handouts and tax holidays amounting to more than 8 million from Republican Governor Haley Barbour. There the company also got income and franchise tax exemptions for ten years.
Now that he is running for the highest office in Virginia, McAuliffe, the former chair of the Democratic National Committee and top fundraiser for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 run, is trying to walk away from the radioactive disaster that is GreenTech. He claims he “resigned” from the company in December 2012, just as Watchdog.org began publishing its findings, but his resignation letter didn’t become available until four months later. Even the New York Times is now in on the act – talking about the scandal this company may wreak on the McAuliffe campaign. When the New York Times gets something right, you know it’s time to start paying attention.McAuliffe likely hopes the headlines will go away, that his company’s lawsuit will succeed in intimidating others from reporting the facts, and that he can breeze to victory against the Republican Attorney General of Virginia Ken Cuccinelli. Well not if the citizen journalists of America, and fearless groups like the Franklin Center, have anything to do with it, We’re going to be sure GreenTech remains an albatross around McAuliffe’s neck until he’s defeated on November 5, 2013.

Scotti Hughes - The Fed Reserves Quantitative Easing Policy
The Federal Reserve effectively said, we’re going to keep the punch bowl out, and keep whatever you make of this “recovery party” going. The hope, of course, is all this buying of Treasury notes and bonds helps already low interest rates, go even lower. This is the third time the Fed has gone to this financial wishing well.
Frankly it’s getting old, but for now, Bernanke and company are the only game in town, and for the markets, the only hope they have. They’re not seeing much leadership out of the White House and Congress.

Scottie Hughes - Why a Solution Will Destroy the Democratic Party
We have problems in America. The most obvious is a busted budget, an overtaxed citizenry (at least for the 53% who pay into the system), another push on gun control, a broken immigration system, a socialist healthcare model and gay marriage rights. The litany of challenges we face goes on. They plague our political discourse with negativity and dissension. This in a country that can find cures for certain cancers, use technology to discover new galaxies, and perhaps most stunning to this parent, a country that create devices that can hold my children’s attention for more than an hour. And yet why can’t we find a solution to these never ending arguments?
It’s simple, really. Those on the left don’t want America to find a solution! They thrive and survive on the concept of making sure there will always be a victim.
A solution would bring peace. A solution would bring harmony. A solution would also be devastating to the Democratic Party, which thrives on misery and conflict.
Take immigration. The left loves to reignite the immigration debate, if for no other reason than they practically hear the 12 million illegals registering as Democrats every time they hurl around the word “amnesty.” Then they try and invoke sadness by telling stories of families ripped apart by our border, unable to celebrate holidays together because anchor provisions don’t exist. Last, they appeal to our ego by saying American citizens don’t want to do the work these migrant workers perform.
The Republicans play into their trap by offering half-measure solutions and “compromises” which cause major splintering within our own party. Great Tea Party supporters like Sen. Marco Rubio are instantly demonized despite their almost perfect Conservative track record except in this issue.
The truth is the main reason why immigrants aren't going home is because of legislation like this. We are incentivizing people to break the law, just like the 1986 immigration "reform" bill did.
I have sympathy for those who want to become Americans, and those who are here. But I also have sympathy for the hundreds of thousands around the world who want to come here legally. They wait for hours at consulates, go through lotteries, and sometimes that takes years. Why should they go to the back of the line?
Imagine someone breaks into your home and then the police show up and say they can stay because they can't do anything about. Is that going to encourage criminals or discourage them? If we're not a nation of law and order and process than we're not really a nation. It's said the reason we need to pass this law is because we are ineffective at enforcing our existing laws. That's a sad commentary on America.
Gun control is one issue that should unify the Republican base. The other side’s playbook is as tired as it is predictable. There is the constant grandstanding with victim’s family members of mass shootings. What we have yet to see is any press conference held on an inner city street corner with gang members vowing to turn in their handguns.
The playbook also requires trotting out easily punctured myths. Take for example the gun show loophole.” A Bureau of Justice Statistics report on “Firearms Use by Offenders” found that fewer than 1% of U.S. “crime guns” came from gun shows, with repeat offenders even less likely than first-timers to buy guns from any retail source. Gun shows are touted by the left (and right) as a problem- but they’re not.
Pro-gun legislators often will say they’re not looking to ban private sales; they just want background checks to occur. But again, how can a sale be a private sale if it must first be run through a federal agency? But more pressing than any other question, how can ANY of these measures would have or could have stopped Sandy Hook? The gun used was grandfathered in and exempt from an “assault weapons” ban that had been in place in Connecticut since 1994, the mother was allowed to have it. Days before the killing, the shooter went to a Dick’s Sporting Goods to buy a rifle and was denied- the current system worked. He went home, killed his mother and used her gun.
No matter what happens, the left will continue to paint conservatives as bloodthirsty and heartless. The ironic part is that we hear silence from the left when the issue of killing unborn children is raised. Only through the intrepid efforts of a few citizen journalists on the right did Americans ever hear the name Kermit Gosnell.
What would the left do if Republicans proposed a series of bills that gave them everything they have been wishing for yet because the Republicans proposed it, we would get all the credit with the different demographic groups? Would the left fight us as we gave them back a taste of their own medicine, as the Democratic Party would be in certain chaos? I predict we would see that exact same problem occur on the left that is now happening on the right. Infighting, division, demonization, and ultimately implosion would eventually occur, as the Democratic Party would not be able to exist without the concept of a victim. The only problem would be that if we accepted the complete liberal agenda as they propose, America as we know it today would be the ultimate victim.

Scottie Hughes - Overturning Obama's Budget
Obama's budget, two months overdue, mixes almost $600 billion in new taxes over the coming decade with modest curbs on spending, including lower-than-scheduled benefit increases for people receiving Social Security. The wealthy would lose the full benefit of some tax breaks while the poor and middle class would gradually slip into higher tax brackets.Presidential budgets are often declared "dead on arrival" and this one may be just the latest to get that label. But it differs from last February's campaign-year missive by proposing a new, government-wide inflation adjustment - affecting Social Security, veterans' pensions and the indexing of tax brackets - that has long been offered to Republicans in hopes of winning concessions on new tax revenues.

Scottie Hughes - Ignoring American History
In times of trouble, I always look to those wiser and stronger then I for guidance. I look to those who, when faced with hardship, found a way to overcome.Benjamin Franklin- “They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
Patrick Henry- “I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death!”
"We are endowed by our creator with certain unalienable rights, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Chickens make me happy---“Jase Robertson- Duck Dynasty
The problems that America is facing today have been caused because those on the liberal left have forgotten their own American history. They have forgotten why this country was originally founded; to escape a land of persecution for your faith, unfair taxation without representation, and a government that chose only a select few businesses to thrive. Sound familiar?
They have forgotten August 1, 1946 in Athens TN where 300 GI’s just back from defending their country in WWII had to literally take arms to fight a corrupt political family which had taken over the local government and its elections.
They have forgotten Korea Town in 1992 during the LA Riots, when it took a full 24 hours until the National Guard arrived to help the Korean businessmen who had to use their guns to protect their stores and their families from those who were rioting in the streets.
And while they have not forgotten to blame George W. Bush, they have forgotten about the citizens who had defend themselves in the wake of Katrina when the corrupt police force ran away from or even turned on its own residents.
Now, let me tell you what we have not forgotten.
We have not forgotten what it feels like the day our child is born and each of us parents make the silent vow too do everything we can to protect them and keep them safe.
We have not forgotten the images of those in the Sudan, Rwanda and Bosnia who were slaughtered when their government went corrupt and they had no way to protect themselves.
We have not forgotten how it all started with the initial push to make things fair and politically correct. However, now our country has allowed the birth of Christ to be erased from public celebration, no Ten Commandments in the Courthouse, and most importantly, the eradication of a Christian God from our public schools.
We have not forgotten the disappointment we feel every time we learn that someone we worked hard for on the campaign trail has betrayed us in order to gain favor in the eyes of leadership or special interest groups.
Actually I don’t think those on the left who keep chipping away at our rights have forgotten history. In fact, I almost wish that were the case. Because I fear it is not that they forget history, rather it is because they choose to ignore history.
They choose to ignore the millions of Americans who believe in the rights given to us by the wise men at the Constitutional Convention when they wrote the Bill of Rights.
They choose to ignore the facts that prove their justification of gun control wrong. They choose to ignore those of us law abiding citizens who honestly just want the ability to defend our home and family.
Everyday, the momentum is growing across this great country and people are using their voice, talent and resources to encourage elected officials at every level of government to vote with honest convictions and principles like the Founding Fathers would have wanted them to. This message is becoming unified. It is not only being sent to those liberals and Independents in office, but also to those Republicans who are all too often cowering down to this administration and its anti-American agenda.
This message is one that cannot be ignored because if those in office choose to ignore the voice of the American people then, I assure you, the American people will choose to ignore them the next time at the ballot box.

Scottie Hughes - Detroit: Rock City Has Hit Rock Bottom
Welcome to the post-sequester apocalypse. As much as President Obama will have us believe otherwise, the greatest financial catastrophe in the coming days will not be of Washington’s making at all. If you’re looking to see what a policy of liberalism can do to a city, look no further then Rock City. Despite one of the most aggressive ECD campaigns featuring celebrities Eminem, Jeff Daniels and Tim Allen, not even Hollywood can save Detroit from going broke. It is on the verge of being taken over by the State of Michigan in hopes of saving the city from bankruptcy.
President Obama on October 13, 2012 stated that he “refused to let Detroit go bankrupt.” Well, Mr. Obama then you better be willing to write a very big personal check. With over $3.8 billion in federal stimulus funds to the city in 2009, President Obama claimed during his reelection bid to be the city’s savior. On the same day that the world is supposed to end with the much-ballyhooed sequester going into effect, Detroit’s financial woes are the inevitable result of liberal tax and spend policies. These policies have led to an annual budget deficit of $100 million, which includes a total of $14 billion in employee retirement liabilities and unfunded pensions. In order for the City to be in the black again, (something they have not been since 2005), Detroit would need $1.9 Billion over the next five years to pay off other long-term liabilities.
As Bob Woodward has discovered, the paternity of the sequester lies squarely with President Obama. It was devised as a trap for the Republicans. The same can be said about the plan of action in regards to Detroit, which was nothing more then smoke and mirrors just to delay what was predictably going to happen. This result was inevitable considering Detroit has always been a city plagued with liberal policies and run by the labor unions.
This is only the beginning. Cities around the country like Stockton, CA, Jefferson County, Alabama and Harrisburg Pennsylvania are Cities traveling down the same path. These cities all share the common trait of continuously electing Democrat majorities to control their local Government. Like a string of dominoes, they are destined to fall one by one. When the states can no longer bail out the cities, who will be there to bail out the states? For example in California’s case, what happens when a State cannot rescue its own municipalities? Does the Federal Government step in and take over a State or does our Federal Government look to foreign investors to bail those States out?The good news is, with every major bankruptcy or bad economic news that is announced it seems our stock market usually has an opposite effect and reaches for the sky. Chairman Bernanke and his minions at the Federal Reserve hope that this manipulated surge will continue the charade of growth in today’s economy giving the American people the false sense that our economy was not effected.
How quickly will the tribulations of the March 1st sequester be forgotten, once the upcoming consequences of what raising the debt ceiling on March 27th might yield. However, with the Federal Reserve printing no less then 85 billion dollars per month, this economic fairy tale has no chance for a happy ending for the City of Detroit and I fear the rest of the Country as well.

Scottie Hughes Smacks Down Teachers Tenure in Public School Sector
According to the pro-education reform documentary Waiting for ‘Superman,’ one out of every 57 doctors loses his or her license to practice medicine. One out of every 97 lawyers loses their license to practice law.
In many major cities, only one out of 1000 teachers is fired for performance-related reasons. Why? Tenure.
Tenure is the practice of guaranteeing a teacher their job. Originally, this was a due process guarantee, something intended to work as a check against administrators capriciously firing teachers and replacing them with friends or family members. It was also designed to protect teachers who took political stands the community might disagree with. Tenure as we understand it today was first seen at the university level, where professors would work for years and publish many pieces of inspired academic work before being awarded what amounted to a job for life.
At the elementary and high school level, tenure has evolved from the original understanding of “due process” to the university-style “job for life.” In most states, teachers are awarded tenure after only a few years, at which time they become almost impossible to fire. The main function of these laws is to help bad teachers keep their jobs.

Scottie Hughes - One Nation Above God
I, like many Christians, watched in disbelief this past September at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina as the delegates not only voted once, but three times, to deny the reinstatement of God into their platform. Just minutes later, Mark Alen Siegel, Chairman of the Palm Beach Democratic Party and nine time State Senator from NY made the hideous statement that, “ The worst possible allies for the Jewish state are the fundamentalist Christians who want Jews to die and convert so they can bring on the second coming of their Lord.”
Almost immediately, thanks to the power of online media and talk radio, Siegel was asked to turn in his resignation. He also was removed from the campaign program, forty-eight hours later that was put on for Obama’s visit to West Palm Beach Florida. Problem solved with the hope that this was just a solo opinion out of the almost one million residents of Palm Beach County.
However, recently with the exposure of Dr. Deandre Poole, a Professor at Florida Atlantic University, who insisted his students write and stomp on the name of Jesus as a part of a class assignment, one might wonder if there is a pattern of anti-Christian sentiment in Southern Florida? Even more interesting is the fact that Dr. Poole currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Palm Beach Democratic Party. Yes, the same party that just seven months ago had Mark Allen Siegel as their Chairman.
This could just simply be a coincidence; however, I must question the principles of an organization that puts into leadership people with such radical, anti-Christian attitudes -- especially in light of the national press attention on the Palm Beach Democratic Party following the DNC. Why would they continue to knowingly keep in power individuals with such extreme beliefs? Could it be because the majority of their membership might also embrace that same ideology?
On the flipside, I believe Christians in America are looking for opportunities every day to show our support and stand up for our faith.
How can we forget August 1, 2012 when thousands of people across the country stood in line for hours to support Chick-fil-A when it came under fire for its views on marriage? Or despite Hollywood constantly trying to persuade us that traditional family values have morphed into a Sodom and Gomorrah lifestyle, American viewers have overwhelmingly shown their support for shows like the History Channel’s “The Bible” series as well as A&E’s Duck Dynasty, which ends every episode with a prayer.
Christians today have not become more timid as some might like to portray us. Rather, it seems those on the other side have become more bold in trying to desecrate our faith. They have used the vehicle of political correctness to make Christianity look like the religion of hate and used bullying techniques to try and scare away any future followers. They have attacked our religious symbols and celebrations, made children embarrassed to pray in school to Jesus, and removed the Ten Commandments from the hallways of our local governments.
Mathew 27:46 “My God, my God, Why Hast Thou Forsaken Me?’ cried Jesus in his last few moments before he died on the cross at Calvary. Today, almost 2000 years later, considering the pattern of anti- Christian actions, unfortunately not isolated to those Democrat residents of Palm Beach County and the Democratic voters at the DNC, many Christians wonder if there is a line where God will ever forsake us?
