"You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children's children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done."

Elko Mike - The Tuth About 'ObamaCare'

Just for the record, we have ALREADY been victimized by the new ObamaCare bill.

Julaine has had hip pain since June/July timeframe. She first saw a Chiropractor that was highly recommended for hip issues. He knew after only two visits that her problem could not be manipulated, etc. via chiropractic medicine and recommended a young, highly skilled surgeon at Iowa Orthopedic Clinic in Des Moines. This doctor had already helped an number of the chiropractor's referrals. The surgeon completed the necessary tests and told her that it was very likely that her condition would not get better without surgery, but felt that some physical therapy should be tried first.

She completed six week of physical therapy and still has significant pain. We saw the surgeon on Monday.he said that Julaine most certainly meets all the conventional criteria for surgical repair of a torn labrum in her hip joint. EXCEPT - the insurance carrier (Blue Cross Blue Shield) has already begun severe cost cutting measures in anticipation of ObamaCare. They have given Iowa Ortho the specific criteria for this type of surgery and she meets ALL the medical definitions except she is too old!!??!! (57 in December) According to the surgeon, they implemented this new criteria three days after Obama signed the bill - in the meantime he (Dr. Aviles) continued to do the surgeries, unaware of the fact that BCBS was not paying anymore!

He said that he is frustrated and his hands are "tied" - it is obvious he wants to use his skills to help improve people's quality of life, but now the government is involved. How does this work? I was participating in a series of technical committee meetings this week in Cleveland and one of the principal owners of a company said that they have already analyzed the cost of insurance premiums for employees compared to the government fines involved if the coverage is dropped. In his case, it is cheaper to pay the fine, but ethically they will likely continue to provide coverage to their experienced and loyal employees. However, NOT all employers will be that generous.

Consequently, insurance companies are looking to cut costs every possible way to reduce their premiums to the amount of government fines in order to stay in business. Besides - they probably know that no matter how bad they are, they will still probably be better than the government option!!!

This is just one real-life example of where it's all heading!

We MUST REPEAL ObamaCare. We MUST DEFUND the Stimulus Package.
