"You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children's children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done."

Dr. Carol Swain discusses our oppressive society in her book - Be The People

Dr. Carol Swain joins Sean Hannity to discuss her book and how not adopting an attitude of being the "victim of an oppressive society" has allowed her to succeed. Such an attitude is available to everyone in our society, as is the freedom to pursue their dreams.....it only requires initiative, hard work, discipline, personal responsibility and determination. This is too difficult for liberals, so they prefer to unleash their envy and construct the illusion of victimization in the minds of societie's less fortunate.

Progressives who convince the poor that they are victims are inflicting long term damage on the very people they claim to be liberating....Liberals masquerade as liberators, but are in fact the oppressors.

Dr. Swain is but one example of someone in difficult circumstances rejecting the lie of victimization and pursuing and achieving success. Her story puts a smile on my face and makes me grateful for the freedom we have in this country.
