Gary Sinise an American Hero - Lt. Dan Band

One man who knows well the sacrifices made by our service men and women is actor Gary Sinise, who has spent countless hours giving back to our Armed Forces and their families. This Independence Day, Sinise has a special message for all of the citizens who protect our country, as well as their families ... and it just may involve his aptly named music group -- the Lt. Dan Band!

Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band's dedication to supporting U.S. troops and the USO is featured in filmmaker Jonathan Flora's documentary "Lt. Dan Band: For the Common Good." The award-winning documentary chronicles the journey of Academy Award nominated actor Sinise and his work since 9/11, and includes footage from his USO tours.
