Joseph Stalin and the Communist Party made a concerted effort to influence Hollywood. The now infamous House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC) tried to stop the Communist influence. Did Stalin and the CPUS win, and succeed in radically altering Hollywood and even American culture?
