"You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children's children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done."

Does it sound like a two-thirds majority of the Democrats wanted Jerusalem as Capitol of Israel back in the DNC platform?

Responding to Democrats adding back the language on God and Jerusalem, Charles Krauthammer says Democrats are acting like they don’t know how it was ever removed. But Krauthammer says words don’t just walk off the page, that it was intentionally done as a reflection of Obama’s distancing himself from Israel. He also makes the point that given that the rule didn’t really pass, it’s a reflection of how strong the anti-Israel sentiment actually is in the Democratic Party.

Krauthammer adds that this is very troubling for the pro-Israel community, especially considering they didn’t reinstate the language on isolating Hamas, the 1967 borders and Right of Return.
