Ann Coulter - Declaration of War in Middle East and Benghazi Cover-up
Ann Coulter joined Hannity to discuss America’s “red line” with Syria. President Obama has stated that the Assad regime’s use of chemical weapons on the Syrian people would be a red line. Recently, reports have hinted that chemical weapons may have been used. Multiple reports also indicate that Israel conducted air strikes on Syria twice in the past several days.“Don’t make the threat if you’re not going to follow up,” Coulter said about the president’s “red line” comment.
She charged, “Our country is always put in a more dangerous position after Democrats have been in the White House. I mean, no matter who comes in three years from now, we are going to be in more trouble than we were certainly when Bush left office.”

Jeannie DeAngelis - Barack Obama's Excellent Israeli Adventure
Originally posted at American ThinkerIt's Passover, and although Barack Hussein Obama's lineage is far removed from that of Abraham, the man should at least put a little of the emergency transfusion blood that they bring along in the president's motorcade over the lintels of his door.
Mr. Obama's first trip to Israel as president was similar to his Jakarta jaunt in 2010 and his "Return to Moneygall" tour in 2011. In Indonesia, the trip was cut short when Java's Mount Merapi began spewing ash in Air Force One's direction. In Ireland, while revisiting his roots, Obama's limo got hung up on a bump as it left the U.S. embassy. In Israel, the trouble started when someone filled the engine of the president's $1.5-million armored limo with gasoline instead of diesel fuel. Then the vehicle biblically dubbed "The Beast" had to be towed like a busted parade float through the streets of Tel Aviv on a flatbed truck.
It's unlikely that Obama recognized the parallel, but filling up a diesel-powered car with gasoline is a perfect analogy for what he has done to America. A clueless Obama insists on filling the nation's tank with the wrong energy, and now America is broken, in need of repair, and praying to God that an alternate vehicle comes along to save us.
Nonetheless, after "The Beast" was demoted, Barack Obama, who everyone knows is perfect, was overheard apologizing to Bibi Netanyhu for his 600-person back-up team, saying, "It's embarrassing, our entourage. My wife, Michelle, teases me mercilessly."
Instead of blaming the help, Obama should have apologized for the conversation he had with Nicolas Sarkozy at the 2011 G20 summit that was picked up on an open microphone. It was there that Sarkozy said of Netanyahu, "I cannot bear Netanyahu; he's a liar," to which Obama responded, "You're fed up, but I have to deal with him every day." As Air Force One touched down at Ben Gurion Airport, an observant Israeli news commentator concisely summed up the Bibi/Barack relationship: "To tell the truth, they can't stand one another."
Rising above the rancor and deciding to let bygones be bygones, Obama greeted Netanyahu, saying, "Good to see you...and it's good to get away from Congress." The president's best effort at mending fences was to tell Bibi Netanyahu, who knows full well that Obama despises him, that there's actually an entity he despises even more.
Immediately following those cordialities, there was a state reception with Israeli President Shimon Peres, whom Obama called "brother," and Mr. Netanyahu, whom Obama did not call "brother," after which the president inspected the Iron Dome battery and met with Israeli Defense Forces.
From there Obama flew to Jerusalem for another reception at Peres's home. That was where the Teleprompter Thespian put on his best Talmudic storyteller face and quoted from Honi and the Carob Tree.
Barack Obama, who's so adept at planting seeds of dissension and division here at home, left his mark in Israel by planting symbolic "seeds of progress ... security ... [and] peace." Calling to mind Jesus's words -- "Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots" -- the Israeli government plans to inspect the Jackson magnolia Obama planted in the Holy Land. If the sapling fails the inspection, the newest addition to Peres's presidential garden will be uprooted.
After the tree ceremony, Obama visited Israel's Holocaust museum, Yad Vashem. Disregarding the 55 million humans tragically slaughtered since 1973, it was at Yad Vashem that the man who supports another holocaust called abortion emphatically declared that "[a] holocaust will never happen again."
Donning a yarmulke, Obama relit an "eternal flame next to a stone slab above ashes recovered from extermination camps after World War Two." While there, President Pro-Choice said, "We have a choice to acquiesce to evil or make real our solemn vow -- never again."
Obama pointed out that "we could come here 1,000 times, and each time your heart would break." If the patron saint of NARAL really wants to comprehend heartbreak, he should check out abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell's murder trial up in New Black Panther poll-watching territory.
After Yad Vashem, Obama visited Mt. Hertzel and the graves of the founder of Zionism, Theodor Herzl and slain Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. From there it was off to Netanyahu's residence to discuss Iran, Syria, and the fate of Israeli spy/U.S. citizen Jonathan Pollard, currently serving life in a maximum-security prison in Illinois. Then a press conference and a dinner unlike the dinner Obama didn't invite Mr. Netanyahu to when he left the Israeli prime minister sitting alone in the Roosevelt Room of the White House.
At Binyamei Ha'uma, the president addressed a group of Arab and Israeli students that understandably excluded those irritated with Obama for inflicting himself on Jerusalem during the wind-up to Passover. Obama dined with Peres, went sightseeing, and breakfasted with Netanyahu at the lavish King David Hotel, where he and his crew took up 233 rooms, and did it all before scurrying off to spend time with King Abdullah in Jordan.
It's common knowledge that the president has a history of attracting flies, rats, lightning, and volcanic ash. Therefore, it was standard fare when a fierce sandstorm grounded Obama's helicopter, forcing him to travel instead by car to Palestine-controlled Bethlehem in a slow-moving motorcade, where he met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah.
Not counting car repairs and travel costs, the excursion totaled $500 million in unblocked aid to the Palestinians, $200 million to the Jordanians, and a tow truck full of meaningless platitudes to Israel.
And so, at the end of Obama's Israeli vacation, the broken-down Beast and the backup blood were loaded back onto a cargo plane for the flight home. Barry and his souvenir kippah departed the Holy Land possibly liking Netanyahu a teeny bit more than Congress. Left behind were angry Israelis and Palestinians, a still-pending Jackson magnolia, a wreath at Yad Vashem, remnants of an Exodus-like sandstorm, and visions of Barack's big, butch, 18-foot-long armored limo being castrated by a tank of gas.

Kevin McCullough - Obama's Israel
This last Tuesday I awaited the reporter's next question. We were sitting in the ultra modern business lounge of the Mamilla hotel in East Jerusalem. The reporter had been tailing me as I toured some yet-to-be-made-public excavations in the City of David, just outside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem.
My seven days in Israel went by in such a flash it was genuinely difficult to focus on doing an interview with the nation's leading newspaper. My mind raced as the people I had been with were much on my mind, and the sights I had seen--especially those that were relevant to my faith--stirred something deeper in me than I had realized. Nonetheless my visit was almost over and here I sat with a reporter who wished to ask my opinion of the things I had experienced.
Finally, in somewhat broken English came the query, "What do you think President Obama will do when he visit's Israel next week?"
Having been warned by my hosts to be leery of reporters from Israel's largest newspaper, I wished to choose my words carefully.
"What I hope President Obama will do on his visit here... is to listen twice as much as he speaks," I replied.
You could visibly see that she was taken by surprise by this answer. I had not mentioned Iran, Palestinians, Netanyahu, or even Syria.
She was curious and wished to understand my response further.
I had just concluded six days of listening to Israel personally.
I had listened to incoming Knesset members--like former Deputy Speaker Danny Danon--explain to me their worries about Iran. I had listened intently to the son of Israel's beloved Prime Minister Itzak Shamir--Yair--a newly seated Knesset member himself--beam with pride over Israel's explosion in start-up technology businesses.
I had just listen to Dani Dayan, president of the YESHA council who has responsibility for the protection and safety of 450,000 Jewish residents in communities (the Israeli and American press call them "settlements") inside of Judeah and Samaria (the Left call these "The West Bank" even though we were 30 miles from the Jordan river's edge.) Mr. Dayan spoke passionately about the safety of the region, the commitment of keeping the Palestinian and Jewish communities safe, and the beauty of the agricultural industry in the region that employs both Arabs and Jews in helping them provide for their families. This agricultural excellence has been proven by the numerous awards the Israeli wineries are now dominating the competition in.
I had also listened to the CEOs and founders of some of Israel's most successful medical technology firms. One from Jerusalem that is heavily traded on the Nasdaq, and one in Tel Aviv that soon will be because the technology they offer is so profound in correcting the musculoskeletal effects of osteoarthritis.
As a Christian, I also listened to the heart of the people, as I was invited to Friday night prayer at the wailing wall, and following that a Shabbas dinner at the home of Aba and Pamela Claman.
The Clamans have restored one of the most beautiful homes in the Old City. Every Shabbat they have anywhere from 30-60 Israeli Defense Forces troops in--many--whose families are far from them. The night I was there IDF members stemmed from London, Belarus, South Africa, and some 20 other places. These IDF were mostly women, and not unlike the U.S. the dominant left in Israel's media often besmirch the motives, intention, and service of their military forces. It was an honor to hear each of them tell why they serve (most had gone well beyond the government mandated two years.)
I even listened as an Israeli Arab spoke passionately in the beach town of Joffa about a community center he has been running for the past few years. In a booming but gentrifying community Arab, Jewish, and Christian children learn instruments, sing in choirs, learn acrylic and oil paints, play sports, together as children of the same community. According to that Arab--Ibrahim Shindi--no such center exists in any Palestinian area, nor any Arab or Muslim country surrounding Israel.
I also listened to the heart of an Israeli feminist explain her critique of modern American feminists and her passionate desire to develop an ongoing conversation about women's roles in Israel. She keeps that conversation lively through her online blog and Facebook pages.
And on my final night, backstage at the Tel Aviv equivalent of Manhattan's Lincoln Center, I sat in a reserved theater for thirty minutes listening and learning about Israeli popular art and entertainment with Aki Avni, who--as many Israeli girls described to me in advance of the interview--is the Tom Cruise or Johnny Depp of Israel.
Since the press are reporting that President Obama's trip which kicks off this Wednesday will be largely to tour sites he wishes to see, my advice stands.
Listen twice as much as you speak Mr. President! Your mind, heart, and soul just be surprised by something you had not expected.
Israel is our most important ally in the region, but their heart and ours beat almost as one. And in us listening to them we might learn more than we believed we could!

Star Parker - What I Saw in Israel
As President Obama prepares for his first trip to Israel, I hope when he gets there he sees what I saw.Several weeks ago I returned from my first trip to Israel. I went with a delegation headed by Governor Mike Huckabee, who visits Israel at least once every year.
What did I see?
I saw kids, no more than 18 years old, walking down the street, waiting at bus stops, wearing Army green khakis, and carrying machine guns on their backs. One young girl was as black skinned as me.
Kids doing their compulsory army service as part of Israel’s citizen army. Three years for boys, two years for girls. No university deferment. First high school, then army, then university.
I also saw Masada. The fortress at the top of a mountain rising high above the Judean Desert, where, almost 2000 years ago, a contingent of Jewish zealots, having fled Jerusalem after the fall of the second Temple, took their own lives rather than surrender to the Roman troops closing in on them.
New recruits into Israel’s army, the Israel Defense Forces, climb the long winding path to the mountaintop fortress at Masada and vow to not let Masada fall again.
I also saw Israel’s Holocaust Museum, Yad VaShem – the name taken from a verse in Isaiah, “….I will give in mine house and my walls a place and a name…an everlasting name which shall not be cut off…” that documents the horrors out of which the State of Israel emerged.
I walked through the halls of deep mourning and saw the displays, the photos, the books and papers, documenting the unimaginable.
The unimaginable and intentional slaughter of 6 million Jews, a third of the world’s Jewish population, done less then three quarters of a century ago and perpetrated by a German nation which was home to some of the foremost scientists, writers, and philosophers of modern times.
A crime of dimensions beyond human conception, perpetrated by a madman whom at the time some in the Western world thought they could do business with. Now today a madman in Iran, who some in the Western world think they can do business with, denies these events even occurred.
My thoughts turned with agony back to my own home in America where the lives of 55 million unborn children have been taken since 1973.
I saw the prime minister of Israel take 40 minutes out of his busy day, in the midst of trying to form a new government in this boisterous democracy, to welcome our small group into his office in the parliament building and take our questions. He even took one from me, which he answered at length and with care.
I saw a once barren land – a land once described by Mark Twain as “a desolate country…. a silent and mournful expanse” - now fruitful and ripe. Everything the Israelis have touched seems to have come alive and then some.
You see the result of the relationship of a land that uniquely goes with a people and the people that uniquely goes with that land, and you think of the Song of Songs: “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine: he browses among the lilies.”
I saw the great hope of my scriptures come alive right before my eyes, and I was left exuberant and confident that the God of truth and justice is still speaking today.
In the words of the Psalmist: “When the Lord brings about the return to Zion we will have been like dreamers…. Then they will say among the nations, The Lord has done great things for them, The Lord has done great things for us. We will then rejoice.”
Yes, I pray that when the president of the United States lands in Israel, for his first time, that he sees what I saw.

Matt Barber - Holy Land Conflict - No Peace Among Wolves
At times, complicated issues are most clearly understood in simple terms. Speaking before the Knesset in 2006, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu captured, in two brief sentences, that which lies at the heart of the ongoing, centuries-old Arab-Israeli conflict: “The truth is that if Israel were to put down its arms, there would be no more Israel. If the Arabs were to put down their arms, there would be no more war.”Indeed, how does one peacefully co-exist with those whose singular obsession is that one should not exist at all? Can a Jewish people who simply wish to live in peace ever do so while surrounded by those who view them as, in the words of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, “a cancerous tumor” – “the most detested people in all humanity” whose very nation must be “wiped out from the map?”
But according to the burgeoning worldwide Islamic caliphate, it’s not just Israel, the “Little Satan,” that must face annihilation. So too must America, the “Big Satan,” be destroyed: “And God willing, with the force of God behind it,” Ahmadinejad once promised, “we shall soon experience a world without the United States and Zionism.”
A nuclear-armed Iran is perhaps months away. It is folly most grave to believe that this Islamic regime – a regime which holds that there can be no greater honor than to destroy both Israel and America via nuclear suicide bombings – won’t deploy such weaponry at the earliest possible opportunity.
Yet today’s anti-Semitic axis-of-the-willfully-blind – the liberal intelligentsia, rank-and-file “progressives” and that elusive creature; the “moderate Muslim” – inexplicably, if not unwittingly, rally behind the principal Islamic cause: Death to the infidels (Quran 9.5).
“Free occupied Palestine!” they drone, while either disregarding the long history of deadly Arab aggression in the region, or laboring under obtuse ignorance of it.
By “occupied Palestine,” of course, Arabs and Arab sympathizers reference that portion of Israel achieved as spoils of her defensive “Six Day War.” In June of 1967, the tiny Jewish nation devastated the armies of neighboring Syria, Jordan and Egypt as the warring nations characteristically made ready to “wipe Israel from the map.”
By seizing the Sinai Peninsula, the Gaza Strip, the Old City of Jerusalem, the Golan Heights and the West Bank of the Jordan River, Israel had gained a defensive stronghold in the region crucial to her very survival. Still, many of these territories remained very much occupied – and do to this day – by thousands of Arabs who now fall under Israeli governance.
Therein lies the struggle.
So, in truth, Israel no more occupies this fictional “Palestine” than do Californians “occupy” Sacramento.
Yet imagine the Mexican government launching dozens of rockets each day, for years, into Los Angeles neighborhoods, intentionally targeting innocent American citizens.
Or visualize a Mexican suicide bomber with full government authority strolling into a crowded Toys “R” Us in suburban Bakersfield, ripping himself and dozens of women and children to shreds.
Picture, if you will, a quiet, unassuming woman cleverly disguised as an expectant mother boarding a San Francisco trolley and blowing it up along with scores of innocent passengers.
Do you not think the international community would forcefully condemn such horrific acts of terror? Do you not think America would respond with that level of force necessary to eliminate the threat? Would she not have an absolute right – indeed an absolute duty to do so?
Of course she would.
Yet, despite a recent fragile cease-fire which Hamas violated within hours, this is exactly what peace-loving Israelis face each day. This is their reality.
Hamas and the Palestinian Authority – with Iran’s full economic and military backing – have been attacking innocent Israeli citizens in this very fashion for years, recently ramping up such attacks.
The only wonder is that Israel has shown such remarkable restraint in her response.
But respond she has.
“Iran has turned Gaza into an outpost of their nation,” Michael Oren, Israeli ambassador to the U.S. recently told a group of Christian leaders in a special briefing convened by Liberty Counsel. “More than 5.5 million of our citizens are now under threat of missile attack, and over 1,300 missiles have been fired at us since we took action against Hamas.”
To be sure, no reasonable, peace-loving person should have any sympathy whatsoever for the Iranian government, Hamas or the Palestinian Authority – all guilty of serial war crimes.
Indeed, we all mourn the tragic loss of innocent Arab life in Gaza and anywhere else it occurs. So do the Israeli people. So does the Israeli government.
That’s what separates the good from the evil.
Yet it is the Arab authorities who bathe in the blood of innocents. Responsibility for these deaths rests solely at the feet of those wicked men who intentionally shield themselves behind their own women and children – who deliberately place military launch sites and terrorist headquarters next to mosques, homes, playgrounds and the like.
They attack innocent Israelis and then shamelessly cower behind these human shields – their own people – as their intended victims answer back with pinpoint strikes against terrorists and military personnel.
It is purposeful. It is propaganda. And it works.
Former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir once said: “Peace will come to the Middle East when the Arabs love their children more than they hate us.”
But alas, their hate burns hot.
Like wild dogs, the Arab nations remain willing to eat their own young if it serves their evil ends.
And like wild dogs they encircle Israel, the Mountain Gazelle, intending to devour her.
And so she fights for her life.

When the people rose up, as in the case of Iran in ’09, his majesty was silent.

Matt Barber - Benjamin Netanyahu - Leader of the Free World
There has been much talk of late about America’s “fiscal cliff.” As troubling as our impending (Obama-spurred) economic collapse may be – and it is more troubling than even our most pessimistic economists are willing to admit – I’m even more concerned about fast-mounting tensions worldwide. As the world government ship of fools drifts unmanned amid a sea of unparalleled global volatility, we, her passengers, behold – brewing on the horizon – an economic and foreign relations “perfect storm.”
As so often is the case, the hurricane swirls around the Middle East.
Historically, the president of the United States has captained the ship. He has, heretofore, been duly regarded “leader of the free world.”
Not now. Not with Gilligan reaching for the helm.
Indeed, the current occupant of the Oval Office
spends more time with his feet on JFK’s Resolute desk than he does leading from behind it.But “leading from behind” he does.
More commonly known as “following,” President Obama’s follow-the-leader strategy in the Middle East represents, in my view, either inherent weakness on his part, sympathy toward the Islamic cause or both.
I suspect both.
Indeed, during his first term, Mr. Obama betrayed both weakness personified and sympathy toward the goals of Islamic fundamentalism with his ongoing embrace of the Muslim Brotherhood.
This extremist group, with Obama’s help, now controls much of the Arab world. It has sworn, in its own words, to “destroy” our “Western civilization from within … so that it is eliminated and God’s religion (Islam) is made victorious over all other religions.”
Not surprisingly, today the Brotherhood rushes to the aid of both the terrorist group Hamas and Holocaust denier Mahmoud Abbas, head of the Palestinian Authority. This, as terrorists ramp-up decades-long rocket attacks and suicide bombings against innocent Israeli women and children.
Nonetheless – and clearly stemming from a cynical political calculus – Mr. Obama persists in paying shallow lip service to support for Israel. All the while he continues to play footsie with the Muslim Brotherhood.
Recall that, just last year, the president touted the “Arab Spring” – which any high school history buff could have predicted would devolve into the utter chaos it has – as “an extraordinary change taking place,” wherein, “Square by square, town by town, country by country, the [Muslim] people have risen up to demand their basic human rights.” (You know, like the Quran-given right for Muslim men to beat or kill women and homosexuals with impunity; or like the human right for both Iran and the Palestinian Authority to “wipe Israel from the face of the earth.”)
Whether due to naiveté, foolishness or pure dishonesty, President Obama’s bungling of the Middle East crisis – let alone his unprecedented attacks on our constitutional freedoms stateside – has disqualified him to lead the free world.
And so, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stepped forward to answer the call. He has become de facto leader of the free world – chief defender of Western civilization.
As America’s light fades under the Obama regime, Israel has become – for now at least – “the shining city on the hill.”
With a nuclear Iran perhaps only months away, Western civilization needs defending now more than ever. Israel needs defending now more than ever. Consider these words from top Hamas cleric Muhsen Abu ‘Ita: “Annihilation of the Jews here in Palestine is one of the most splendid blessings for Palestine.”
Thus, Israel defends herself. Israel defends the free world.
To be sure, the worldwide Islamic juggernaut has become emboldened by the actions – by the inaction – of a sympathetic, do-nothing U.S. president. Muslim terrorists have, as the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) recently noted, “turned Gaza into a frontal base for Iran, terrorizing residents of Israel and forcing them to live under unbearable circumstances.”
Yet, inexplicably, many in the West – people Vladimir Lenin might have called “useful idiots” (i.e., “progressives,” mainstream media and moderate American Muslims) – willfully suspend disbelief. They play directly into the blood-soaked hands of these terrorist cowards.
Having time and again demonstrated a willingness to sacrifice their own innocent people (consider child suicide bombers), these monsters today both deliberately target Israeli neighborhoods with rockets and intentionally place their own military launch sites and terrorist headquarters next to mosques, playgrounds, factories and the like.
This, as intended, has created a propagandist boon. Much of the world blames Israel when these human shields are tragically killed during pinpoint military strikes. Who needs missile defense when you have women and children to hide behind?
To both the Israeli and the Arab victims of radical Islam, I say this: You are in our thoughts and our prayers. Our hearts break for you. We pray that God will cover and protect you during these dark days and nights.
