The White House releases tons of pictures of Obama family dog Bo; pictures of Michelle Obama gardening and hula-hooping; there are even photos of President Obama teaching the Resolute Desk how to do double duty as an ottoman. What there aren’t a lot of photographs of are America’s top general in the “war on women,” Barack Obama, and his underrepresented high-ranking female advisers. Why? Because besides the president’s Senior Advisor and admitted ‘main man’ Valerie Jarrett, there simply aren’t very many women around.

So what does this say about Barack Obama and the left’s contrived “war on women?” Well, given the fact that high-level women are a scarcity at the White House and Obama pays his female staffers about 18% less than his male staffers, the definition of the “war on women” obviously has nothing to do with political or economic equal rights. Instead, if Sandra Fluke and her Polycystic Ovary Syndrome sisters are the chosen poster girls for female oppression, then apparently outfitting women for carefree sex is how liberals plan to win the gender conflict.

After all, didn’t Democrats haul Sandra Fluke out in front of the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee on women’s health and contraception to expound upon American women’s need for free birth control? That right there should have insulted liberated ladies who for years have tried to separate sex from significance. But then again, if Obama consistently pays his female staffers $11K less than the males, it’s understandable that the president might feel that working women could be a little pressed for cash to purchase the necessary protection for after-work dalliances.

Georgetown University Law School graduate Sandra Fluke became a media star when Rush Limbaugh connected the dots for America. Rush merely pointed out that demanding health insurance provide free birth control in order to facilitate consequence-free sex presents an opportunity for women to employ government entitlements as a means to earn extra cash.

The left was apoplectic that Limbaugh dared to suggest that Sandra Fluke may actually be what she herself had intimated she might be – so much so that the President took the time to call Sandy F. to “express his disappointment that she has been the subject of inappropriate personal attacks.” As a parent, Obama mentioned that Sandra’s parents, Richard and Betty should be proud of their daughter’s willingness to “exercise her rights as a citizen to speak out on an issue of public policy.”

Let’s remember that when casually discussing birth control, abortion, and his own twisted sense of morality, it was the president who mentioned that Sasha and Malia should not be “punished” with a baby. That bizarre comment coming from a father of two young girls indicates that career choices and potential income are not the first and foremost opportunities Obama anticipates will face his daughters.

Nevertheless, it was during Obama’s reelection campaign that Ms. Fluke’s dog-and-filly show took to the road. The “democrat darling” traveled the nation representing victimized womenfolk and portrayed Republicans as Neanderthals trying to deprive the fairer sex of the necessary accoutrements for a healthy sex life. But the accolades didn’t stop there; Sandra also earned a slot as a featured speaker at the Democratic National Convention and TIME Magazine even considered Her Flukeness for Person of the Year.

Meanwhile, as Sandra was busily helping secure Obama’s reelection with the hyper-dependent Julias of the world, female employees working on Obama’s reelection campaign were earning an “average of $6,872…compared with an average of $7,235 for male employees. That is a difference of $363, or 5.3 percent.”

Then, recently, a White House Flicker photo was released of a meeting of Barack Obama’s top advisers. The picture was void of even one female representative, so either the president’s top-level ladies were busy using those free contraceptives, or women are not welcome in the president’s innermost circle.

Couple the missing female Obama advisers with the president’s female staffers and campaign employees being paid considerably less than males and there’s a clear indication that the liberal “war on women” fiction involves something besides addressing traditional feminist issues.

Therefore, based on the lack of female representation and continued salary inequity in the Obama administration, as well as the emphasis in the “war on women” being on the “right” to a paternalistic birth control entitlement, it appears liberals believe women are reliant on men to protect their right to be ready for sex at a moment’s notice. It also explains why, on behalf of American women, liberal men like Barack Obama will keep fighting the good fight against conservatives who continue to insist that honoring a woman isn’t about equipping her for worry-free sex at taxpayer expense.

Jeannie DeAngelis - The Worldwide ‘War on Women’

American women have now been esteemed to such a level that for taking a stand against religious liberty and becoming the nation’s contraceptive cover girl, Sandra Fluke is actually being considered as TIME magazine’s Person of the Year.

Women who commiserate with Sandra likely view themselves as also suffering the hammers of hell here in the misogynist war zone called America. After all, American women have withstood the abuse and pain of living thus far without the benefit of free contraceptives. Now, however, equipped with newfound fame and with the re-election of Barack Obama signifying a battle won, maybe Ms. Fluke can now branch out and become an international spokesperson on how women around the world can stand strong in the face of male-imposed tyranny.

Who better than Sandra to represent injustices such as a 15-year-old girl being beheaded by a male cousin over a rejected marriage proposal?

Here in America, while girls of Mexican-American descent picked out dresses for a festive quinceañera, in the Imam Sahib district of Kunduz province, 15-year-old Gisa was out gathering water by the river when she was ambushed by close male cousin Sadeq, who proceeded to saw off her head with a knife.

Gisa’s father refused to allow his daughter to marry because of her tender age. So, instead of a wedding dress and a wedding, the girl’s headless body was returned to her family, wrapped in a sheet and dressed for a funeral.

With that in mind, Sandra Fluke did do a bang-up job on Capitol Hill advancing awareness of the war on women by schooling the Catholic hierarchy on polycystic ovary syndrome. So why not fly Sandra out to Khanabad to give a similar speech to Afghani men about the discriminatory display of hostility exhibited when one separates the head of a young girl from her body?

After she celebrates the rampant practice of female feticide, Sandra can then turn her attention toward injustices like beheading, stoning, genital mutilation, rape, and splashing acid in the faces of Afghani girls. Then the war-on-women/endometriosis expert can pack her copy of TIME magazine and a fresh supply of free contraceptives and fly off to Michoacán, Mexico.

After all, it was in Michoacán that former mayor of Tiqicheo Maria Santos Gorrostieta’s half-nude, mutilated body was recently found dumped in a rural field.

Maria stood up to drug cartels over marijuana and heroin in the same way Ms. Fluke stood up to the patriarchal Catholic Church over the right to NuvaRings and FemCaps. One difference, though — Sandra Fluke became a liberal hero, while Maria was kidnapped, tortured, and then executed.

America has Sandra Fluke working on behalf of free contraceptives for all, and Mexico had Maria Santos Gorrostieta, who died defying a drug-driven turf war. Unlike America’s gutsy Sandra Fluke, Maria didn’t live long enough to have the opportunity to solicit free birth control in front of Democratic members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Instead, what this lovely young woman did do was spend her short life working selflessly on behalf of the region’s poor.

Before her death, the mayor had already suffered and survived many gunshot wounds at the hands of drug cartels. Even Maria’s husband, the town’s former mayor José Sánchez Chávez, was killed in one ambush. In a subsequent attack, gunmen opened fire again on Santos Gorrostieta, leaving her scarred, maimed, and in need of acolostomy bag.

When Gorrostieta left office, her security detail was withdrawn. Then, like Gisa’s cousins, the former mayor’s vengeful stalkers lay in wait to seek the retribution that had formerly evaded them.

Eight days after Gorrostieta pleaded that the life of her daughter be spared, farm workers found the woman’s battered corpse on the side of the road. What happened at the hands of the quasi-religious drug cartel La Familia Michoacana during the previous week, no one knows for sure. Still, it’s reassuring to know that there’s someone like Sandra Fluke out there, who can, having endured gender oppression at the hands of male clergy at Georgetown University Law Center, empathize with Maria’s pain.

Maria Santos once said, “Despite my own safety and that of my family, what occupies my mind is my responsibility toward my people, the children, the women, the elderly and the men who break their souls every day without rest to find a piece of bread for their children.”

Prior to her throat being slit, little Gisa’s last words were probably a cry for help for someone to save her life. Sandra Fluke, on the other hand, is celebrated for furthering the fabricated, self-absorbed point that “[Paul] Ryan’s abortion position kills women.”

It is a shame that in some circles, women having to pay for their own birth control or abortion elicits a greater outcry than females being victimized by multiple assassination attempts or decapitation by a close relative.

In the end, for her part in the “war on women” Fluke did get a gig at the DNC Convention and will get her beloved contraceptives for free and, unlike young Gisa and Maria Santos Gorrostieta, will also likely achieve fame on the cover of TIME magazine.

Suffice it to say that while women suffer and die all around the world, in America, liberal “ladies” represented by the likes of political prop Sandra Fluke come across like a bunch of whining ingrates who defame the memory of martyrs like Maria Santos Gorrostieta and innocents like Gisa — two victims of the world’s real war on women

Joe Biden - Joe Biden, ‘Practicing Catholic’

Amid all the smirking, chortling, and “give me a break, kid” sniggering that ill-mannered Joe Biden exhibited at the 2012 vice presidential debate, when he piously explained his stance on abortion, he exposed in totality the hypocrisy of liberal thinking.

Toward the end of the debate, Biden’s friend and one time houseguest, moderator Martha Raddatz, posed the following question to the candidates: “We have two Catholic candidates … [a]nd I would like to ask you both to tell me what role your religion has played in your own personal views on abortion[.]”

After Paul Ryan expressed how personal faith impacts his pro-life views, Joe Biden sobered up for a second and said, “My religion defines who I am, and I’ve been a practicing Catholic my whole life.”

Like many liberals, whether it’s a game of constitutional Twister or flexible religious creed, Joe fashions his faith to accommodate his personal beliefs. Therefore, the vice president and the enthusiastically pro-abortion Barack Obama both feel comfortable calling themselves Christian.

Mr. Biden identifies with Roman Catholicism but doesn’t let that identity get in the way of his support of policy that directly contradicts church teaching on the sanctity of life. Joe may believe he’s been “practicing” Catholicism his whole life, but he’d better keep those training wheels on his theological bicycle.

Echoing fellow Catholic Nancy Pelosi, Joe told Martha that except when it comes to the legally sanctioned death of innocent human beings, Catholicism has “particularly informed [his] social doctrine.”

According to Joe, “[t]he Catholic social doctrine talks about taking care of those who-who can’t take care of themselves, people who need help,” which Biden agrees with except when he’s approving of brutally dismantling helpless innocents “who can’t take care of themselves.”

But isn’t that what liberals do? Quote Scripture and fund Planned Parenthood? Talk about caring for the “least of these” and then lobby for dilation and curettage? Receive communion and vote “yea” for partial-birth abortion?

After attempting to convince America of his firm commitment to the largest Christian church in the world, Joe Biden repeated twice that, “with regard to abortion,” the church’s position that “life begins at conception” is de fide, or “belonging to the essentials of the faith, by virtue of a papal ruling.” Happy-go-lucky Joe said he accepts “divinely revealed teaching,” but only in his “personal life.”

In other words, Joe Biden’s liberal form of religion says that in the political realm he can grant himself dispensation to approve of, fund, and justify the murder of the unborn, all of which he claims he shuns when he’s at home or attending Mass. Sorry, Joe, but Pontius Pilate found out that personal disapproval doesn’t erase the stain of innocent blood from guilty hands.

Biden further extended Christian charity to Raddatz, Ryan, and the Sandra Flukes of the world, as well as to “equally devout Christians, Muslims, and Jews,” whom Joe believes also condone abortion on demand. Joe Biden explained that as a Christian, he cannot impose his unwavering devotion to Catholic doctrine on others. However, he is perfectly comfortable with imposing an agonizing death on those whom, if he’d walk in the faith he professes, he could save.

For the entirety of the debate, Joe hid his Roman Catholic “light under a barrel,” especially when, referring to Paul Ryan, he said that “unlike my friend here, the-the congressman, I-I do not believe that we have a right to tell other people that — women they can’t control their body.”

Winding down his touching soliloquy on faith, Joe stressed that when it comes to abortion, “[i]t’s a decision between them and their doctor. In my view and the Supreme Court, I’m not going to interfere with that[.]” And Joe Biden is certainly not going to let God or the Catholic Church sway or interfere with that opinion.

In light of Biden’s lopsided philosophy, one can’t help but wonder whether the form of trendy religiosity he professes also believes that Jesus had no right to tell the adulterous woman to go “and sin no more.” After all, she was a woman, and it was her body.

In the end, Joe Biden can smirk, sneer, and disparage Paul Ryan and his stance on abortion that marries truth, core conviction, and selflessness with personal faith all he wants. For those who had ears to hear, Biden’s apostate theological view concerning abortion confirmed during the debate that, as Peter said in 2 Peter 3:3, “in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.” And those scoffers occupy the pews of the liberal Democratic Party, right alongside “practicing Catholics” like Joe Biden.

Jeannie DeAngelis - Obama Dazzles Denver Dames

The Obama 2012 campaign, featuring Sandra Fluke, the “eloquent advocate for women’s health” and Georgetown University Law School graduate whose claim to fame is complaining that for lack of free contraceptives a friend with polycystic ovary disease lost an ovary, converged on Denver, Colorado.

The thrust of yesterday’s truth-stretching stump speech was to convince 4,000 swooning women that Mitt Romney is Ward Cleaver. Primarily, the President was there to persuade the ladies that electing him for a second term would ensure that women’s issues would continue to take precedence over lesser concerns such as Afghanistan, the economy, the housing crisis, national security, illegal immigration, unemployment and anything else Obama has royally messed up.

To officially kick off the day, Obama referenced the Aurora and Oak Creek, Wisconsin shootings, promising that “This is going to have to stop. And as an American family — as one American family — we’re going to have to come together and look at all the approaches that we can take to try to bring an end to it.”

Shifting away from hinting at curtailing Second Amendment rights, the President then appealed to a full palette of women in the crowd. The group included moms, grand moms, and those who exercised the right to choose not to be moms.

Obama told his female fans that not electing him for a second term would have “a direct impact — not just on your lives but on the lives of your children and the lives of your grandchildren.” What he failed to elaborate on was that the “direct impact” of not electing him for a second term would be a positive one.

Nevertheless, in the same way Obama stresses that accomplished individuals shouldn’t take credit for their successes, in like manner he took no credit for his failures and passed blame to G.W. Bush for the policies he said “got us into this mess” — policies that, Lord have mercy, he’s “spent… three and a half years trying to recover from.”

Alluding to the sacred rite of abortion, Obama referred to it as women making their “own health care choices.” He told the crowd that they deserved a president who would fight to uphold that care and that Mitt Romney would “take us back to the policies more suited to the 1950s than the 21st century.”

Then, Obama chronicled a litany of 1950′s-type things that will happen if Romney is elected president, some of which included: “going broke just because one of your loved ones gets sick,” being denied “coverage based on a preexisting condition, like breast cancer, or cervical cancer,” being charged “more for care just because you’re a woman,” having “bosses” make health care decisions for women and, without free contraception, facing a future full of “ovarian and other cancers.”

And of course he broached the fate of female students having to “choose between textbooks or the preventive care” — like a spur-of-the-moment “preventive care” visit to Planned Parenthood.

The President accused Mitt Romney of disagreeing with him and Ms. Fluke when Obama said that Romney, rather than retaining the right to kill unborn children dead, would take the Affordable Care Act and “kill it dead.” Then, he said Romney would do the unimaginable and “get rid of” Planned Parenthood.

While in Denver, Obama also took credit for saving people sentenced to die from cancer and dragged his dead mother into the conversation who, like the late Ranae Soptic Romney-killed-her lie, the President claims might have lived if she had “spent less time focusing on how she was going to pay her bills and more time on getting well.”

Barry talked about his late mother Stanley Ann “being in a better place,” mentioned how an Obama Presidency 2.0 is the only thing standing between Sasha and Malia living in an America where they’d have “fewer choices than anybody’s boys do,” and encouraged illegal Dreamers when he vowed that he’d keep “building an economy where no matter what you look like or where you come from, you can make it here if you try.”

But despite shirking responsibility for the abysmal state of the nation and attempting to scare the bejeezus out of American women, probably the most stunning statement had to do with Barack Obama discussing equal pay.

Clearly, Barack Obama must have forgotten that his own female staffers are paid on average $11,000 less than the men employed by the White House, because he said “Think about what it means when a woman is the main breadwinner for her family, but she’s taking less pay home, doing the same work as a man, just because she’s a woman. That’s not right.”

Barack ‘Lilly Ledbetter’ Obama might have confused himself with Mitt Romney when he claimed that when the former Massachusetts governor’s campaign “was asked if he’d fight to guarantee an equal day’s pay for an equal day’s work, you know what the campaign said? They said, ‘We’ll get back to you on that.’”

After failing to “get back to” the underpaid women on his own staff, the President then went on to share that he wants his “partner” in the “journey of life,” Michelle — the woman attempting to control the diet of the entire nation — to have “control over her health care choices.” Obama wants to make sure that “when [Michelle's] working, she is getting paid the same as men.”

Then, Barack Obama actually spoke these words: “I’ve got to say, first ladies right now don’t — [get paid] — even though that’s a tough job.”

So there it is! In Denver with Sandra Fluke, in addition to healthcare pledges and dire Romney warnings, on behalf of women being properly compensated Obama may have been hinting that if he’s reelected, while Michelle’s enjoying yet another 10 million dollars’ worth of taxpayer-funded vacations, she’ll also earn a paycheck.

Star Parker - Defining Deviancy Down

In 1993, then Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan published a paper in which he coined the phrase “defining deviancy down.”

He was ringing an alarm about what he saw as a dangerous social unraveling as result of our redefining deviant behavior as normal, rather than doubling down on traditional standards of behavior.

It’s through this lens that we should view the Obama administration mandate that employers provide free contraception and sterilization and its refusal to grant an exemption to morally opposed religious institutions.

Our audacious president, as part of his ongoing enterprise to transform America, has gone beyond defining deviancy down. Abortion, sterilization, and sexual promiscuity have not just been redefined as normal. They are considered “reproductive rights” for which we all should foot the bill.

Consider Rush Limbaugh’s much ballyhooed verbal assault on a Georgetown law student for testifying before Congress in favor of forcing her Jesuit university to provide students free contraception.

In a Gallup poll done in 1969, 68 percent said pre-marital sex is wrong and 21 percent said it is not wrong. Few young women in 1969 would have felt comfortable to publicly declare they sleep around and it’s doubtful that any politician or media personality would have condoned her behavior.

By 2009, in response to the same question, 32 percent said pre-marital sex is wrong and 60 percent said it is not wrong.

Are we a fairer and more progressive nation today, or have we defined deviancy down?

If you think we’re a better nation today because sexual promiscuity is viewed as normal and acceptable, so you must also be comfortable with the rest of the social developments that go along with this.

Most notably, the transformation and breakdown of the traditional American family.

In 1960, 72 percent of American adults were married. Today 51 percent are.

The most dramatic transformation here has taken place in those communities most likely to be supporting Democrats and Obama - blacks and Hispanics.

In 1960, 14 percent of white adults had never been married. The percentage of never married blacks and Hispanics then was not much different – 17 percent.

By 2008, the percentage of never married white adults had increased to 23 percent. But among blacks it grew to 44 percent and among Hispanics 34 percent.

If you see family breakdown as a negative development, so it is clear that defining deviancy down has had the most deleterious effects on those communities in which traditional institutions were weakest to begin with.

As part of the process of defining deviancy down, the words don’t change – only their meaning changes.

So the website of Law Students for Reproductive Justice, the organization of Sandra Fluke, the young woman Limbaugh attacked, says “all people are entitled to equal protection of the law, the free exercise of rights, and the enjoyment of economic, political, and social well being.”

These noble words, which sound like they could have been written by Thomas Jefferson, are perversely interpreted to mean religious freedom may be denied to a Catholic University, while forcing it to pay for contraception and sterilization for students.

Our nation is drowning in debt, with unfunded liabilities of our Social Security and Medicare programs estimated in the range of $70 trillion.

Yet Ms Fluke’s idea of injustice is a student relating “how embarrassed and powerless she felt when she was standing at the pharmacy counter, learning for the first time that contraception wasn’t covered….”

This warranted a personal call from the President of the United States to assuage her hurt feelings from Rush Limbaugh’s tough language.

Today deviancy has been defined so far down it has been turned on its head. The Obama administration idea of deviant is any presumption to religious liberty and any sense that individuals should be personally responsible for the costs and consequences of their own behavior.

Kevin McCullough - 'Street-Walkin' For Obama

Since President Obama attributed his reasons for calling Sandra Fluke last week as pertaining to his desire to see his own daughters Sasha and Malia follow in her footsteps, you have to wonder if he hates his daughters.

Honestly!

Sandra Fluke researched Georgetown's policies, targeted them for attendance, ignored the three Planned Parenthood clinics within walking distance of the campus, and boldy lied before Congress about the financial burden her sex life had become. If that's what he wishes for his daughters, heaven help them.

Of course he also has hoped they would never know the "burden" of pregnancy too. Wow... no kids for life, just angry dishonest activism before the people's body, while talking up your sex life. Some dream for your kids huh?

All sarcasm aside, I don't believe that's what he wants for his daughters, but when it has to do with getting elected saying things that might imply as much is within the field of play huh?

Evidently it is.

You know what else is in play? Sending your campaign manager (who at one point was your White House Senior Advisor) to be on a television show that degrades women. Who'd a thought it?

Nevertheless that's the plan...

David Axelrod, one of the President's most trusted advisors, will be going on the show hosted by million-dollar-donor to the Obama SuperPAC Bill Maher sometime within the next few weeks.

Of course the left will somehow attempt to argue that while the icon of talk radio, Rush Limbaugh, had earned every ounce of scorn the left could pronounce, Maher doesn't deserve the same merit because he's... (**shrugs**) While the left argues that Rush's advertisers (who are now flocking back to the largest media platform in America) were dropping him for trumped up non-sense about being disrespectful to women, Obama's advisor going on a show that has in recent months referred to women as dumb "tw*ts," and "c*nts" is just fine by him and everyone on Obama's team.

Evidently an advertiser supporting Rush Limbaugh is to be held accountable (and ruin their stock prices in the process), and disassociate themselves, but people who go on Maher's hate-fest can gain access to the ear of the leader of the free world without so much as a "should we think about the optics of this first" crossing somebody's brain.

Perhaps the former MSNBC washout Keith Olbermann was supposed to settle the matter only a couple of evenings back on his Countdown broadcast on CurrentTV (no, it's a real network, look it up), as he explained that misogyny only occurs when conservative men go on offense against liberal women. Strangely Olbermann then attempted to apologize to Michelle Malkin and S.E. Cupp--both delightful human beings--while simultaneously claiming he wasn't misogynistic.

From Hot Air's Tina Korbe (who know doubt will be on Olbermann's list soon.):

In October 2009, Olbermann called Hot Air founder Michelle Malkin, “a big mashed-up bag of meat with lipstick on it.” Then, in April of last year, Olbermann tweeted about conservative commentator S.E. Cupp, “On so many levels she’s a perfect demonstration of the necessity of the work Planned Parenthood does.”

His odd insult which was to be disguised as an apology was roundly unaccepted by both ladies. (Hmmm when was that word last used in connection to any of these topics?)

Long story short, Olbermann is still spewing bile and venom all over the names of women he merely politically disagrees with, Maher is still referring to women as insulting synonyms of genitalia, and President Obama wants his daughters to grow up emulating Sandra Fluke, the woman who needed $3000 to be reimbursed for contraception that cost normal people about $180 for the same time period. (Not drawing any judgement but... Man that's a lot of sex!)

Add to that the willingness to send his political surrogates, voices, campaign spokespersons, and senior advisors to go beg for the airtime of such types is... to be honest... making me sick as I type this.

Additionally, David Axelrod, the pillar of purity himself, publicly called for Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum (the only two viable candidates the Republicans have left) to publicly denounce Rush Limbaugh and be unwavering in their criticism of his comments. (Comments that my own Lovely Bride, her best friend, and several of their other friends--who all happen to be 20-30 somethings in the prime of life, and a wee bit more informed about what real female role models look like than President Obama does--seemed to agree with. In fact that entire cadre of ladies--wow twice in one column--were more than a bit irritated when Rush apologized.)

All in all President Obama, the Shrews...er the females(<--note usage) on The View, Bill Maher, David Axelrod, and even Gloria Steinem (who is rumored to have been present on at least one occasion when Maher dropped a vaginal reference to a woman) may all be willing to denounce references to loose women who pretend to have their virtue still intact as "street walkers." This is true however only if the reference originates from someone who holds a politically opposing position. Not dissimilar to use of the "N" word in certain ethnic circles. So set the DVR friends, because those who seek to demean women in most every imaginable way are coming to an HBO late night near you. In the mean time, I'd like to see if I could use the word "lady" three times in a column. Oh wait, I just did!

Matt Barber - Limbaugh And the, Um, Lady

Saul Alinsky is alive and well in the political maneuverings of the secular left. The problem is; we all have the play book now.

As most know, Rush Limbaugh has been under fire of late for comments he made about 30 year-old “reproductive justice” radical Sandra Fluke. Ms. Fluke recently gained national attention while testifying before Congress. There, she demanded that Georgetown Law, a Jesuit University, underwrite her stated fornication practices by paying for her and other students’ birth control and, ostensibly, abortions. Fornication and abortion, of course, are considered “mortal sins” in Christianity. Catholic doctrine further bars the church from providing contraception.

Rush said of Fluke: “[T]hey’re talking about, like this left-wing sl-t, what’s her name? Sandra Fluke?”

Not really. Actually that bile came from the revolving pie-hole of MSNBC’s Ed Schultz in reference to conservative talk radio host Laura Ingraham. Ms. Fluke recently went on Schultz’s program to criticize Limbaugh for indirectly suggesting that, in light of her admitted sexually immoral lifestyle, she was a “sl-t” (an offensive and inappropriate slang for which he has apologized).

During the interview Ms. Fluke somehow failed to mention Schultz’s identical insult of Ingraham. (An inadvertent oversight, I’m sure.)

And speaking of double standards: the media has made much fanfare about a staged phone call from President Obama to Ms. Fluke to “ask how she was holding up.” (No call yet to the similarly aggrieved Laura Ingraham.)

Additionally, Obama has refused to return – or even answer questions about – a one million-dollar donation from serial misogynist Bill Maher who, among other things, has called Sarah Palin a “tw-t” and a “c-nt.”

Mainstream media-types have no interest in this double standard because they share it. They’re duty-bound to ignore the palpable hypocrisy. To do otherwise would undermine the absurd “GOP-has-declared-war-on-women” narrative. (By ‘women,’ of course, they mean liberal women – outnumbered by Rush-supporting conservative gals two-to-one).

Indeed, Rush Limbaugh has become the left’s flashpoint in this twofold election year ploy to both sour women against the GOP and distract from Obama's impending debt bomb, skyrocketing gasoline prices and the threat of a nuclear Iran.

David Burge (@iowahawkblog) of the Iowa Hawk blog summed it up nicely in a tweet: “How can you monsters talk about a $15 trillion debt at a time like this, when a brave coed has hurt lady-feelings?”

Yes, how can we focus on trillions in Obama debt, $6.00 gasoline and Islamo-fascists with nukes while a Georgetown “coed” is being denied free medication from Christians for her “Saturday night fever”?

Well, I have it on good authority that today Rush is chewing a big fat Padron Toro and laughing himself silly. Every time McCarthyite liberals take a swing at El Rushbo, they get their hemp-clad heinies handed to them. It’s like watching Andre the Giant toss midgets.

On Wednesday, (3/7/2012) Rush announced on his show that the “progressive” machine’s latest effort to bring him down via a sponsorship boycott was failing fantastically. Following the DNC-manufactured Fluke dust-up, Rush revealed that he has suffered zero revenue loss (even making gains); that he has a wait list of new advertisers lining up, and that some of his former sponsors – who hastily bowed to leftist pressure and dropped him – are now “practically begging to come back.”

This comes as little surprise. One such sponsor, Carbonite, saw its stock plummet by twelve percent overnight after announcing it was pulling its spots. This is what happens when a company puts partisan politics over profit.

Limbaugh – rated number one in talk radio – has tens-of-millions of loyal, activist listeners who love to spend tons of cash on the products Rush plugs. (Wonder how long before Carbonite CEO and MoveOn.org supporter David Friend “steps down” to “spend more time with his family”?)

Still, liberal attempts to sidetrack aside, the cultural issues embedded within this Fluke flap are worthy of discussion. Only a dying culture lionizes a woman who publicly impugns – with pride – her own honor and virtue. Yet, to the left, she’s a hero.

It’s genuinely sad that, as a society, we are no longer appalled that a young, single woman – though very nice, I’m sure – would go on national television nonetheless, to proudly and publicly boast that, to her, while sex is cheap and casual, dealing with the potential consequences is so expensive that those of us who disagree must subsidize her bad behavior.

Can someone please explain to me how and why a woman's “right” to be promiscuous is my financial responsibility? If you refuse to buy your own “preventative medicine,” why not hit up the fellas? Last I heard it takes two to do the fornication Fandango.

This is by design. Secular-“progressives” have been working to deconstruct traditional sexual morality for generations. The goal is to impose – under penalty of law – their own moral relativist, sexual anarchist worldview. (Hence, the unconstitutional ObamaCare mandate requiring that Christian groups cast aside millennia-old church doctrine, and get with the postmodern program.)

But, beyond this assault on religious freedom and the moral implications surrounding the debate, Ms. Fluke has additionally set the true women's movement back decades. Her public groveling for free contraception and abortifacients reinforces the sexist stereotype that single women can’t survive without welfare. Women’s empowerment? More like patriarchal government dependency.

Still, like so much in its propagandist bag of tricks, the left’s entire “denied access to contraception” premise is built upon a lie. Liberals would have you believe that, for decades, women seeking birth control – already cheap and often free – have been systemically tackled in front of Walgreens by a bevy of white, Republican Catholic Priests.

Name one woman who has been “denied access” to birth control – ever. Show me one Republican politico who wants to “ban contraception.”

There are none.

Birth control at Walgreens? A few dollars. Taking personal responsibility for your own lifestyle choices and consequences? Priceless.

That’s all Rush was saying.
